RETURNS & CANCELLATION POLICY
1. OVERVIEW
1.1. Purpose: These terms outline our policies regarding order cancellations and returns.
1.2. Importance: Please carefully review these terms to understand our cancellation and return policies, along with other significant notices.
2. ORDER CANCELLATIONS
2.1. Cancellation Request: To cancel an order, kindly email your request to customerservice@thepolycarbonatestore.co.uk . Include your name, address, order number, order details, and reasoning for cancellation.
2.1.1. Policy Review: Buyers are encouraged to review our returns and cancellation policy to understand restocking charges.
2.2. Non-Acceptance: We cannot cancel bespoke, cut-to-size items that have undergone processing or cutting.
2.3. Acceptance Cancellation: We accept cancellations for non-bespoke, cut-to-size items that haven't undergone modifications e.g. accessories.
2.3.1. Sheet Cancellations: Cancellations for "popular sheet sizes" exceeding 1m wide x 2.5m long are accepted with deductions, as these are pre-cut stocked sheets.
2.4. Refund Process: Upon cancellation acceptance, refunds will be processed within 14 days using the original payment method.
2.4.1. Charges Apply: Cancellations may incur deductions or additional charges as per clause 4.1.
3. RETURNS POLICY
3.1. Return Request: Initiate returns request via email to customerservice@thepolycarbonatestore.co.uk , specifying your name, address, order number, details, and reasoning for return.
3.1.1. Policy Review: Buyers should review our returns and cancellation policy to understand restocking charges.
3.2. Eligibility: Returns apply to non-bespoke items, excluding those modified post-purchase. No returns are accepted for bespoke, cut-to-size items.
3.2.1. Exceptions: Apply for "popular sheet sizes" exceeding 1m wide x 2.5m long, as these are pre-cut stocked sheets.
3.2.2. Fabrication: We will not accept a return if the material has been fabricated into a shape.
3.2.3. Notification Requirement: Notify us in writing within 7 days of receiving the goods.
3.2.4. Timeframe: Goods must be dispatched within 14 days of expressing the intent to return.
3.3. Return Address: Ship returns to or return in person to Unit 5 Boston Road, Heckington, Sleaford, NG34 9JD.
3.3.1. Responsibility: Ensure goods are returned unused, in saleable condition, and in original packaging via personal return or courier with tracking.
3.3.1.1. Quality Check: Warehouse checks goods upon receipt, determining refund eligibility based on condition.
3.4. Refund Process: Refunds will be processed within 14 days upon receipt, inspection, and acceptance by the warehouse team.
3.4.1. Charges Apply: Returns may incur deductions or additional charges per clause 4.2.
4. DEDUCTIONS FOR CANCELLATIONS AND RETURNS
4.1. Cancellation Charges
4.1.1. No restocking fee applies if orders are cancelled within 24 hours.
4.1.2. Cancellations after 24 hours but before dispatch incur 10% administration fees based on net invoice value.
4.1.3. Reprocessing cancelled orders for alternative sizes may incur additional charges, quoted per order.
4.2. Returns Charges
4.2.1. Sheet Returns: 25% restocking charge applies if sheets are returned undamaged and in original packaging, see clause 3.2 for eligibility.
4.2.2. Ancillary Products: 20% restocking charge applies if products are returned undamaged and in original packaging, see clause 3.2 for eligibility.
4.2.3. Notification Requirement: Notify within 7 days of receipt per clause 3.
5. Important Notice
5.1. Notification Requirements: Notify us in writing at customerservice@thepolycarbonatestore.co.uk before initiating any returns. Unsolicited returns won't be accepted.
5.2. Collection Process: In case of errors, where we are at fault or the goods are faulty, we'll arrange for collection with a signature-required collection note.
5.3. Handling Returned Goods: Upon receipt of the goods, appropriate actions will be taken.
