10mm Brown Aluminium F-Section
Aluminium F-Sections are used on the side of your polycarbonate sheets without the need of a snapdown rafter supported glazing bar. They offer a longer lifespan than PVC due to the high quality aluminium with a powder coated grey, white or brown finish. Note that the F-Sections are only powder coated on the outside.
Aluminium F-Sections are only advised to be used directly onto the sheets with the extended side pointing down. You may drill the extended leg into the side of the end rafter.
If you install the F-Section with the extended side facing upwards and is positioned against a solid wall, it is recommended that you use flashing tape to seal where the profile meets the wall to provide a waterproof seal.

This profile can be used on its own to save costs but only if the long leg is downwards so it can be screwed through regularly into the side of the rafter.
The aluminium f-section slides over the edge of your polycarbonate sheet. If used in this way, you will need to run a bead of silicone along to assist with waterproofing.
The aluminium f-section can be used with a self-support glazing bar to create an end bar.
Not to be used with a PVC capped glazing bar as the prongs are too deep, a PVC sheet closure should be used instead.
